Why Arizona search is not one market
The Valley looks like one place until you watch how people search. A Scottsdale med spa on Camelback Road is in a knife fight for the map pack, half a mile from a competitor just as polished, in one of the densest med spa corridors in the country. A Paradise Valley luxury agent has the opposite problem: the portals own the head terms and every individual agent handed them the town, so the neighborhood and agent-brand searches sit there unclaimed. Clearwater Hills is not Old Town, and 85253 is not 85251.
That is why I don't build one broad Arizona page and call it strategy. The work has to match the local search pattern: city pages, vertical pages, treatment or neighborhood pages, a Google Business Profile that is not stale, and internal links that help Google understand where you actually compete. When a buyer searches from a phone near Scottsdale Fashion Square, along Scottsdale Road, or from a patio above the Camelback Inn, your business should give Google a stronger answer than the competitor getting the call today.
